Hi,

I passed my NCLEX exam! I had a total of 80 questions (minimum 75 and max 260 questions with a total of 6 hours to write the exam). It took me approximately an hour and 40 minutes to write 80 questions. I had 80% of my questions priority based (which patient would you go see first). I had a lot of select all that apply questions (these are the higher level questions).

Your review helped me because I realized the more questions I answered while studying, it helped me understand the rationales to a lot of the questions I received on the test itself. Therefore, the amount of questions I reviewed prior to writing the test greatly reflected my ability to answer the right questions on the nclex examination.

Dear Dr. Mallakin,

My huge thanks for the Celban review. Here's what I did in order to pass the test. I practiced the night before the exam answering the questions which you had given us. I could have done better on prepositions and others if I read the materials you sent us through email initially. I reviewed fundamentals of nursing as well. I didn't practice much on the writing part since we have enough during the review. Almost all of the speaking questions you gave to us were raised during the exam.

I am so glad to inform you that I have passed my CELBAN. My test was on May 16 and I have got my results on June18. I must say that Its you who made it easier for me. The exam format was the same you taught us. My speaking assessors were very nice. They didn`t confuse me at all. They explained their questions every time. My role play was Anorexia and discharge instructions were for colostomy. They explained both of the conditions to me and then ask me to answer.

First time when I took CELBAN, I thought I was prepared but I clearly wasn't ready enough and wasn't successful in any of my modules. The exam was just fine, meaning CELBAN is more comforting than IELTS. In CELBAN the effort of answering the questions is something with a goal. You are assured that you really did your best. But for IELTS, it looks like you put your money to nothing, not applicable for Nurses.
